      St. Petersburg Paper Mill of Goznak is one of the world’s largest producers of protected papers as well as widest assortment of industrial papers. The unique production capabilities allow the mill to produce the paper of almost any degree of complexity. Recently, more energy is being put into the development of new promising paper types.
     As of April, 2005 the paper mill has launched the industrial production of the universal photo-quality BETANKYR paper for printing inkjet printers.
    Before the launch of the industrial production, the new BETANKYR paper has been tested in several independent laboratories; whereupon the resulting print quality has been evaluated by specialists as rather high.
     According to the paper mill experts, in developing the BETANKYR paper, great attention has been given to improving the archival qualities of the printed image. The paper gives magnificent, detailed, realistic, color-rich prints with exact color matching. The paper does not contain any additives and is 100% ecologically safe.
     The paper is manufactured in А4 format and comes in five grades by weight: 120, 140, 160, 180, 200 g/m2. By he end of the year, St. Petersburg Paper Mill of Goznak is planning to widen the assortment due to production of glossy paper, as well as matte papers of 230 and 260 g/m2. Also, launching the production of photographic paper 10 x 15 cm is currently planned. By the end of 2006, there will be introduced the production of plotter paper with and without coating.
      The exclusive rights to sell the new BETANKYR papers for inkjet printers made by St. Petersburg Paper Mill of Goznak was given to ООО Europapir CIS, which is a large distributor of paper products. Initially, BETANKYR will be sold in four out of nine company branches in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, and Ekaterinburg.
